KAMA Doc Rock began in 2006 and fast became a highly attended fundraising event in Knoxville. It is one of KAMA's Legacy Fundraising Events. Doc Rock is a “battle of the bands” where at least two members of each band are physicians. Each band represents a local health-related charity. On the night of the event, attendees vote for their favorite band or charity and proceeds are distributed to the charities based on number of votes. Doc Rock is a non-smoking event for ages 18 and up.
